How I Lost 15 kgs in 3 Months…

I realized in the mid of 2017 that I had gained a lot of weight, and the 2 triggers to it were
1) My Mom saying that I should lose some weight and generally we don’t hear this from Indian mothers
2) I had undergone a surgery on my right leg and in one of the routine follow-ups my Doctor asked me to lose weight else I might face issues in near future.

I am not a Gym person so that option of losing weight was out of question. I started trying various drinks like Jeera Water, Azwain water, Lemon water etc. after reading articles on weight loss on the Internet or on social media. Even after 3 months of trying all these weight loss treatments there was no improvement, so I started looking for a healthy alternate way to get rid of my flab and keep it off. Post Diwali 2017 my wife told me about a message posted in our Society WhatsApp group from a Dietician on Detox and Weight loss, and that is when I met Dt. Deepika Khera Dey from U Feel Healthy Clinic and consulted her.

Deepika gave me a lifestyle change plan, not a diet so it is has been really easy to follow and keep the weight off. Deepika did not restrict my eating habits but introduced healthier things into my diet considering my likes and dislikes. Deepika taught me which foods encourage a healthier lifestyle and healthier living. I have found Deepika to be extremely knowledgeable about nutrition and anything to do with health and I trust her advice. She has a strong desire to find different ways to help patients, especially when you don’t show any improvement on the weighing scale. She is very approachable and ready to guide you and answer all your queries promptly. During the program my Blood Pressure, Heart Beat rate and other blood parameters were frequently checked and they all were in healthy range. The only drawback of the program was that I lost few inches of waist and hence had to go shopping for new trousers.

I have been totally blown away by the results of following Deepika’s nutrition plan which she adapted to my likes and dislikes. Not only have I lost the fat I wanted to lose without stepping foot in a gym, but I have also got more energy and I feel much healthier overall. I just want to tell everyone that to lose weight we do not need to do dieting it’s just that we need to eat a healthy and nutritious diet.
